Learn how to check your Apple Account balance on your device.

Check your balance in the App Store on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Vision Pro

  1. Open the App Store app.

  2. Tap your photo, initials, or the sign-in buttonsign-in button at the top of the screen. You might be asked to sign in to your Apple Account.

  3. If you have a balance, the amount appears. If you don’t see an amount, you don’t have a balance.

Check your balance in Wallet on your iPhone or Apple Watch

You might also be able to check your account balance in the Wallet app in some countries or regions.

  1. Open the Wallet app.

  2. Tap your Apple Account card.

  3. If you have a balance, the amount appears below your Apple Account card.

Check your balance in the App Store on your Mac

  1. Open the App Store. If you see the sign-in button at the bottom of the sidebar, click it and sign in to your Apple Account.

  2. If you have a balance, the amount appears below your name. If you don’t see an amount, you don’t have a balance.

Check your balance on your Windows PC

  1. Open the Apple Music app or Apple TV app.

  2. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar. You might need to sign in to your Apple Account first.

  3. If you have a balance, the amount appears below your name. If you don’t see an amount, you don’t have a balance.

If your Apple Account balance seems incorrect

  • If you think that your Apple Account balance is incorrect, sign out of the App Store, Apple Music app, or Apple TV app. Then sign in and check the balance again.

  • If you still think that the balance is incorrect, check your purchase history to see whether you bought an item or a subscription renewed.

If you can’t spend the last of your Apple Account balance to make changes to your account

Some changes to your Apple Account require you to have no remaining Apple Account balance. Spend your balance on items in the App Store or other Apple services. You might also have to wait for any pending refunds to process. If your balance is less than the cost of a single item, contact Apple Support.

If cash refunds are required by law

You can’t redeem or return Apple Gift Cards, App Store Gift Cards, or unused Apple Account balance for cash, except as required by law. If your jurisdiction allows for refund of redeemed gift balances, you can contact Apple Support to request a refund. When you contact Apple, include the following information:

  • The primary email address that you use to sign in to your Apple Account

  • The refund amount

  • Your current shipping address
